Dr. Stelios Grigorakis
Stelios Grigorakis was born in Athens in 1962 and graduated from Leonteios School in 1979 and Medicine School of Athens in 1986.
From 1989 till 1992 he specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London hospitals:
- Royal Free Teaching, Hamstead and
- Chase Farm District Hospital, Enfield.
During 1992-1995 he worked as a curator in hospitals:
- Mayday University Hospital, Croydon
- St George's Teaching Hospital, Tooting and
- Crawley District Hospital, Crowley,
where he acquired the MRCOG title (Member of the Royal College Obstetricians and Gynecologists) after the required examinations.
During 1995-1996 he specialized in Laparoscopic Surgery in Paris Cochin Hospital and In vitro Fertilization in London, where he got the European title for Specialist in Obstetrics – Gynecology, in 1996.
From 1997 up to today, he has had his own private practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology with a special interest in Laparoscopic Surgery, Reproductive Medicine and Menopause.
In 1997, him, together with his colleague Marinos Tsirigotis and the embryologist Michael Pelican, they founded the Centre of Reproduction and In Vitro Fertilization, AKESO
Dr. Sabine Wünschmann
Sabine Wünschmann graduated in 1990 from the Medical School of Frankfurt.
During her studies, she also practiced in Hamburg, Paris, Australia, Switzerland, China and Taiwan.
During 1990-1997 she specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the following hospitals, getting finally her PHD from Frankfurt hospital.
- Groote Schuur Hospital, Cape Town, South Africa
- University Hospital Nordwest, Frankfurt
- Homerton Hospital, London
- Lewisham Hospital, London.
After she completed her medical training extensively, Dr Wünschmann felt that an essential part was missing and she wanted an more holistic approach to the human being!
Τherefore, she had a 3 year training of classical homeopathy with the university of athens and Georgios Vithoulkas. (2004-2006)
She is constantly being trained in Germany, Great Britain and USA, with emphasis on laparoscopic surgery, infertility, holistic approach of menopause, natural childbirth in water and homeopathy as well as acupuncture and herbal, for which she gets continuous education through ABRAM.
Also, she is currently undertaking training in antiageing medicine with the american academy for antiageing to aim for american board cerification.
From 1998 till today, she owns her own private practice as an Obstetrician - Gynecologist in Athens, with a special interest in laparoscopic surgery, infertility and menopause.
We should also add that she is the mother of 4 children ...
Dr. Michael Filippidis
Dr. Michalis Philippidis returned from Belgium in October 2006, after 14 years of studies and work in the country.
During his stay in Brussels, he studied at the Free University of Brussels (ULB), where he graduated with a high distinction. Then, he was selected by the College of Gynecology - Obstetrics to do his specialty at Braine - l'Alleud / Waterloo Hospital for 2 years and at ΙRIS SUD of Brussels Hospitals for 3 years.
During these years and except from his basic specialty, he specialized
in breast pathology. He worked for the oncology center RENE HUGUENIN in Paris, where he completed his master specialtyon breast pathology, while at the same time he successfully completed this oncology center'suniversity degree program of breast pathology.
He specialized in new techniques (sentinel lymph node, Oncoplastic techniques, core needle biopsies), whose implementation has significantly amended the surgical treatment of breast diseases, compared to the previous years.
In October 2004, he joined the network of hospitals IRIS SUD of Brussels
as a Supervisor Mastology surgeon-gynecologist.
He worked as a key member of the breast's cancer Clinic, at the central hospital (Hopital d'Ixelles - Etterbeek) and as head of breast in a unit of the regional
network hospital (Hopital Moliere - Longchamps), for 2 years.
As a key member of the breast Clinic, at the hospital Ixelles – Etterbeek, he participated in many EORTC programs (European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer), while one of his special case studies isbreast's core needle biopsies.
Currently, Dr. Philippidis works with Women's Care medical team, where he sees his patients weekly on Monday and Thursday.
Dr. Panagiotis Livanos
Panagiotis Livanos was born in 1968 in Mitilini Lesvos, Greece. In 1993, he graduated from Athens Medical School. He then served his mandatory rural service and his military service for the Greek army.
He then started his training to obtain his specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology. From 2000 till 2005 he received training in the UK and he worked as a registrar in England and Wales (Prince Charles Hospital Countess of Chester Hospital and Liverpool Women hospital).
From 2005 till 2009 he sub specialised in fetal medicine at London”s Kings College hospital under professor Kypros H Nicolaides.
At the same time he worked for the Fetal Medicine center (137 harley str) and the Fetal Medicine Foundation, charity Organisation that promotes research in the fields of obstetrics and fetal medicine. (www.fetalmedicine.com).
From 2009 onwards, he is an associate for the Womens Care Group and maintains his own private practice in Athens.
