Dr. Stelios Grigorakis
Stelios Grigorakis was born in Athens in 1962 and graduated from Leonteios School in 1979 and Medicine School of Athens in 1986.
From 1989 till 1992 he specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London hospitals:
- Royal Free Teaching, Hamstead and
- Chase Farm District Hospital, Enfield.
During 1992-1995 he worked as a curator in hospitals:
- Mayday University Hospital, Croydon
- St George's Teaching Hospital, Tooting and
- Crawley District Hospital, Crowley,
where he acquired the MRCOG title (Member of the Royal College Obstetricians and Gynecologists) after the required examinations.
During 1995-1996 he specialized in Laparoscopic Surgery in Paris Cochin Hospital and In vitro Fertilization in London, where he got the European title for Specialist in Obstetrics – Gynecology, in 1996.
From 1997 up to today, he has had his own private practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology with a special interest in Laparoscopic Surgery, Reproductive Medicine and Menopause.
In 1997, him, together with his colleague Marinos Tsirigotis and the embryologist Michael Pelican, they founded the Centre of Reproduction and In Vitro Fertilization, AKESO
